Reading a New Long-Haul Route: LOT's Warsaw to Bangkok Nonstop

2 October 2026 · Explera DMC · 3 min read

A new nonstop changes what an agent can sell, but only once its schedule has been read properly. LOT Polish Airlines' press office lists a Warsaw to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi service with its first flight on 7 October 2026, flown with Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Our Thailand team covers the schedule in its briefing on the LOT route. This note uses it as a worked example of how to read any new long-haul route into one of our four destinations.

Start With the Days, Not the Route

From 7 to 25 October 2026, LOT lists three flights a week. From 26 October, the start of the winter season, its press release gives five a week. Five weekly departures let you sell stays of 7, 10 and 14 nights without putting every client on the same day, which suits tailor-made FIT business.

Read the Arrival and Departure Times

In the winter schedule, the flight from Warsaw lands in Bangkok at 06:45. Clients reach their hotel long before the usual check-in time, so the first morning needs an early check-in, a room from the night before or a same-morning transfer to the beach. The return leaves Bangkok at 08:45, so clients should be at the airport by around 06:00. Plan a very early pick-up or a last night near Suvarnabhumi.

Check Whether the Reports Agree

Early coverage gave 26 October as the start date, and one schedule-tracking site later reported six weekly flights for the winter rather than five. When reports differ, treat the airline's own figures as the plan and reconfirm the exact days with the airline before you ticket a group.

Confirm the Entry Rule for the Market

Polish citizens can enter Thailand without a visa for up to 30 days under the rules in force since 15 September 2026. A client who stays longer needs a visa or an extension. Every new route raises the same question for its own market, so check the rule for the passport before you quote.

Size the Demand Honestly

The Tourism Authority of Thailand counted 237,570 Polish arrivals in 2025 and 137,772 by 18 May 2026, and it expects the LOT route to bring around 47,000 visitors over the winter 2026/27 season. Those figures support a programme, but they do not guarantee seats, so hold space early for groups.

What Clients Book on Arrival

Beach weeks remain the core product for this market: Phuket, Krabi and Khao Lak on the Andaman side, and the Gulf islands for repeat visitors. A scheduled nonstop also makes city breaks in Bangkok and twin-centre trips easier to sell, for example Bangkok and Chiang Mai followed by a week on the beach.
