Build your travel-industry career with Explera.

We hire and train the next generation of destination-management professionals — internships and roles, remote or in-house, across a four-destination B2B group. Applications are accepted by email only, at hr@expleradmc.com.

In short: Explera DMC hires travel-industry interns year-round on six rolling posts. Programs run 3–6 months, remote (worldwide) or in-house in Hong Kong, Bangkok or Surat. To apply, email your CV and a short note to hr@expleradmc.com — the only application channel — and every complete application is answered within ten business days.

Opportunity types

Three ways in.

Internships — remote

Remote · Worldwide

Work with our destination and trade-desk teams from anywhere. Structured 3–6 month programs with a named mentor, real client files and weekly reviews — built for students and early-career travel professionals.

Internships — in-house

On-site · Our offices

Join a desk in one of our offices and learn destination management where it happens — reservations, operations and trade support alongside the teams who run programs on the ground every week.

Full-time roles

Remote or on-site

Experienced travel-trade professionals — operations, contracting, sales and MICE — join us year-round as the group grows across four destinations.

Requirements

Eligibility, specifications and what we screen for.

Every application is read against the same six specifications — meet them and your CV goes straight to the desk you applied to.

Eligibility

Students and recent graduates of tourism, hospitality, business, languages or marketing — or early-career professionals moving into the travel trade.

Languages

Working English, written and spoken, is required on every post. A second source-market language — Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian or Thai — is a strong advantage.

Remote setup

Your own laptop, a stable internet connection, and at least four hours of daily overlap with your desk time zone (GMT+7 to GMT+9).

Commitment

3–6 months. Minimum 20 hours per week part-time, or 40 hours full-time; exact schedule agreed with your mentor before you start.

In-house placements

The legal right to work or study in the office country — Hong Kong, Thailand or India. We do not sponsor internship visas.

Selection process

Email application, a short screening, then one or two interviews (video call for remote posts). An offer letter confirms role, dates, location and any stipend.

Why Explera

What you get from a DMC-group internship.

Four destinations, one group

Rotate across Thailand, Japan, Korea and Indonesia desks — few travel companies offer this range under one roof.

Real work, named mentor

Interns sit on live files with a dedicated mentor and weekly reviews — no coffee runs, no shadow-only programs.

A recognised trade name

An IATA TIDS registered group (96215733) and ASTA member with its own DMC in every market — experience that counts on a travel-industry CV.

Certificate & reference

Completed internships receive a certificate and a written reference; strong performers are first in line for full-time openings.

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note — the post you're applying for, remote or in-house, your preferred start date and location — to hr@expleradmc.com. Applications are accepted only at this address; we reply to every complete application within ten business days.
