Privacy Policy
How Explera DMC collects, uses, shares and protects information from the travel agents who contact our trade desks.
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Who we are
Explera DMC Limited is a business-to-business destination management group with its head office in Hong Kong and registered entities in India (Explera Vacations Private Limited) and Thailand (Explera DMC Co., Ltd.), IATA TIDS 96215733. We work with travel agents and tour operators, not with consumers.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers the website expleradmc.com and the enquiries you send us through it. Our destination sites (such as explera.co.th and explera.jp) and our agent and booking portals may publish their own notices.
Information we collect
When you send a trade enquiry or RFQ we collect the details you provide: your name, agency or company, work email, country, destinations of interest and the content of your message. When you contact us by email or WhatsApp we retain that correspondence. Our hosting and analytics providers also process technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, as described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
We use it to respond to your enquiries and RFQs, prepare quotations, manage the trade relationship, operate and secure the website, and improve our content and services. We do not sell your information.
Legal basis
Where this applies, we process business-contact information on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a B2B travel business and responding to trade enquiries, and, where relevant, to take steps toward or perform a contract with your agency.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us operate: our form-delivery provider (which routes website enquiries to our trade desk), our website host and analytics providers, and the email and messaging services we use to reply. These providers process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law.
International transfers
Explera operates internationally, and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer information internationally we take steps to keep it protected.
Retention
We keep enquiry and correspondence data for as long as needed to serve the trade relationship and to meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email b2b@expleradmc.com.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised "last updated" date.
