Armenian carrier Shirak Avia plans a weekly Yerevan-Phuket flight from early November 2026 until March 2027, with a technical stop in Dhaka. Explera DMC's advice to agents is to build every group around the weekly rotation, hold rooms from the arrival morning and confirm the first departure date with the airline.
A new route from a smaller market changes the planning more than the selling. Our Thailand team sets out the schedule in its briefing on the Yerevan-Phuket flight. This note is for agents and tour operators in Armenia who want to put groups and series on it.
What Has Been Announced?
- One flight a week. Shirak Avia plans a weekly Yerevan-Phuket service on a Boeing 737-800, with a technical stop in Dhaka in both directions.
- A winter season. The Armenian news agency ARKA reported that tickets are on sale and that the flights run until March 2027.
- Two start dates in print. AeroRoutes and the Caspian Post give 5 November 2026 for the first flight, while ARKA reported 10 November. Confirm the first departure with the airline before you sell it.
- A late-morning arrival. Published schedules show the flight reaching Phuket around 10:40 local time after an overnight departure from Yerevan. Times can still change.

How Should a Group Be Built Around One Rotation?
- Seven or fourteen nights. With one flight a week, every stay runs from one rotation to the next. Quote in whole weeks.
- Rooms from the arrival morning. Clients land after an overnight flight, so book the room from the night before or agree an early check-in.
- A fallback plan. If the flight moves, there is no second flight that day. Agree in writing what happens to rooms and transfers if the date slips.
- Entry rules by passport. Thailand's visa-exemption list changed on 15 September 2026, so check each traveller's own passport before you take a deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does the Yerevan-Phuket flight start?
In early November 2026, once a week. AeroRoutes and the Caspian Post give 5 November and ARKA reported 10 November, so confirm the first departure with Shirak Avia.
Is the Yerevan-Phuket flight non-stop?
No. It makes a technical stop in Dhaka in both directions, on a Boeing 737-800.
How long should a group stay in Thailand?
Seven or fourteen nights, so the group flies home on a weekly rotation. A second base elsewhere in Thailand fits a fourteen-night stay.
