VIV Asia 2027: Planning Agribusiness Delegations to Bangkok

VIV Asia, the trade show for the livestock, feed and animal-protein industry, returns to IMPACT near Bangkok in March 2027. Our Thailand team covers the show in its briefing on VIV Asia 2027. This note is for agencies in our source markets whose agribusiness clients plan to send people to it.

What Has Been Announced?

• Dates and venue. VIV Asia runs from 10 to 12 March 2027 at IMPACT Exhibition Center in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, just north of Bangkok. It is open from 10:00 to 18:00 on all three days.
• Size. The organiser says the show spreads across Halls 1 to 7, with a 38% larger exhibition footprint. It has not published visitor or exhibitor numbers for 2027.
• Co-located shows. Meat Pro Asia covers the processing end of the supply chain, and a new show, HortiAgri Next Asia, covers agriculture alongside livestock.

What Should Agencies Plan Now?

• Who is travelling, and why. Farm owners, feed buyers, processors and vets want different halls and different meetings. Sort the group by interest before you plan the days.
• The hotel area. IMPACT is in Muang Thong Thani, north of central Bangkok. A hotel near the venue cuts daily travel; a central hotel suits groups with evening meetings in the city.
• Farm and plant visits. A visit to a farm or feed mill is possible only if the host company agrees. Send us the company names early.
• The week before the show. MotoGP opens its 2027 season at Buriram on 5 to 7 March, and early March is high season in Bangkok. Hold rooms and coaches early.
