Maroon 5 Bangkok 2027: Fan Trips in Chinese New Year Week

The short answer

Maroon 5 play Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, on Tuesday 9 February 2027, three days after Chinese New Year on 6 February. Explera DMC advises agencies to secure tickets first, then hold Bangkok rooms early, because the show falls in one of the busiest hotel weeks of the year.

Maroon 5's 2027 Asia tour stops in Bangkok during the Chinese New Year holiday. Our Thailand team covers the show in its briefing on Maroon 5 at Impact Arena. This note is for agencies and tour operators in our source markets that sell concert trips and small incentives.

What Is Confirmed About the Bangkok Show?

Tuesday 9 February 2027, Impact Arena. The venue is in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, north of central Bangkok, according to Time Out Bangkok and BK Magazine.
The promoter is Live Nation Tero. Time Out Bangkok sends buyers to the promoter's site. The presale and general sale opened in August 2026.
The Asia leg runs from 24 January to 12 February 2027. Bandwagon lists Kaohsiung, Seoul, Tokyo, Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok and Singapore.

Why Does Chinese New Year Change the Plan?

Chinese New Year falls on Saturday 6 February 2027. Travellers from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia are on the move that week, and Bangkok is one of their main short-haul destinations. A fan trip built around 9 February competes with that demand for rooms and flights, so hotels should be held as soon as the client has tickets.

Which Date Suits Your Market?

Clients in Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore have a show at home, and fans in Taiwan, Korea and Japan have one too. For them, Bangkok works as a holiday with a concert in it. For long-haul markets, February is dry and warm in Thailand, so the show pairs easily with a few days on the coast or in the north.

How Should Groups Get to the Arena?

The show is on a weekday evening, so the drive out can meet the evening rush and the return meets the crowd leaving the arena. A return coach or van with a fixed meeting point keeps a group together; a night at a hotel near Muang Thong Thani is the other answer. Our Thailand team arranges both.
