Tokyo Disneyland rebuilds Tomorrowland in 2027. Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue opens in spring 2027 and Space Mountain Earthrise later in the year, with no month announced. What Opens at Tokyo Disneyland in 2027?

Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, spring 2027. A ride set in the candy racing game from Wreck-It Ralph, the first attraction from that film at any Disney park. It takes the site of the former Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters.
Space Mountain Earthrise, 2027. Still an indoor roller coaster, with a new building, ride system and story. No month has been given.
A rebuilt square. The area around the rides becomes Tomorrowland Plaza, with a shop called Pixel Prism, a food outlet called Element Express and a popcorn stand called Popping Station.
Who said so: Oriental Land Company, which runs the park, named the rides on 13 August 2026.

How Should Agents Time Family and School Groups?

Expect crowds in the first months. New rides pull in local visitors too. We put park days on weekdays and keep clear of Japanese school holidays.
Do not sell the date you do not have. Space Mountain Earthrise has no month yet, so a 2027 trip should stand on the whole park, not on that one ride.
Check ride rules before booking. Height and age rules for the new rides are not published. We check them before we confirm a family or school group.
Book the hard parts early. Park tickets, hotels near the resort and coach transfers are where groups lose time. We arrange them from a Tokyo base.
