What Do We Know About Bangkok Design Week 2027?

18 to 28 February 2027. It is the tenth edition of the festival.
Theme: "Design to Last: Ever Evolving, Everlasting", according to the organiser.
Organiser: the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), a Thai public organisation under the Office of the Prime Minister.
Where: creative districts across Bangkok, with Charoenkrung and Talat Noi named in the announcement. Venues and the full programme come later.
Size: CEA says the festival draws more than 400,000 visitors a year from Thailand and abroad.

How Should a Study Group Be Planned?

Stay by the river. Charoenkrung and Talat Noi sit on the Chao Phraya, so a riverside hotel puts the core districts within walking distance.
Or stay by a station. A base near MRT Hua Lamphong or BTS Saphan Taksin gives the group train links to venues elsewhere in the city.
Book the hotel first, the days last. Venues are spread out and the schedule fills in close to the dates, so we lock rooms early and keep each day open.
Add the extras. Guides who know the districts, studio visits on request and transfers between venues are what groups ask for most.
