Korean Air flies daily between Seoul Incheon and Hiroshima from 23 December 2026 on an Airbus A321neo, out of Incheon in the morning and back in the afternoon. Explera DMC uses the Korean Air Seoul–Hiroshima route to join a Korea programme with western Japan, with our Korea and Japan teams planning each side.
Most Korea and Japan combinations we build run through Tokyo, Osaka or Fukuoka, because that is where the seats are. The Korean Air Seoul–Hiroshima route gives western Japan its own daily door, and that changes how a twin-centre trip can be drawn. Our Korea team has written the Seoul–Hiroshima route briefing. Here is how it looks from the group side, where we handle both countries.
What Has Korean Air Announced for Hiroshima?
- The start. Daily flights from 23 December 2026, announced by Korean Air on 24 August 2026, with reservations opening the same day.
- The aircraft. An Airbus A321neo in a two-class layout.
- The timings as filed. KE2183 leaves Incheon at 10:35 and lands in Hiroshima at 12:15. KE2184 leaves Hiroshima at 13:25 and reaches Incheon at 15:25.
How Does the Route Change a Twin-Centre Programme?
The simplest shape is an open jaw: arrive in one country, leave from the other, and use this flight in the middle. A group can finish in Seoul, fly to Hiroshima late in the morning and still be at the hotel in the afternoon, then carry on through western Japan and fly home from Osaka or Fukuoka. The reverse works just as well. The flight from Hiroshima lands at Incheon mid-afternoon, which leaves time for the transfer and check-in before dinner in Seoul.
Our Korea and Japan twin-centre guide sets out how we split the days between the two countries. With Hiroshima on the map, the Japan half can lean west rather than going back through Kansai first.
What Should Agents Watch?
A narrow-body aircraft has limited room for a big group, even on a daily service, so ask for group space early and be ready to split a large party across two days. The route is new, and filed times can change before the first flight, so we confirm timings with the agency or its consolidator before quoting. One more practical point: Asiana is due to fold into Korean Air in December, and our integration note lists what to recheck on other sectors of the same trip.
