Hokkaido Ballpark F Village is the home of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters in Kitahiroshima, between Sapporo and New Chitose Airport. Its operator is now working to bring in more overseas visitors. Explera DMC's Japan team uses it as an evening game or a lighter non-game stop, often on an arrival or departure day.
Hokkaido Ballpark F Village for groups is one of the easier ways to add a modern Japanese experience to a Hokkaido programme without adding a travel day. The ballpark's operator has just signed a new partnership aimed at overseas visitors, which makes it a good moment for agents to look at it. Our Japan team describes the site itself in its F Village note for groups; this page looks at it from the side of an agent building and selling the tour.
What Changed for Overseas Visitors?
- A new partnership. Travel Voice reported on 9 October 2026 that Fighters Sports & Entertainment, which runs F Village, has signed a capital and business alliance with Takanawa Travel Group, operator of the booking service TripToJapan.com, to bring more overseas visitors to the site.
- Growing numbers. According to the same report, more than 36,000 international visitors came to F Village in 2025, about twice the 2024 figure.
- What it means for agents. The site is actively courting the inbound market, so we expect more information, services and group handling aimed at overseas clients. Until those are announced, we confirm every arrangement directly.
Which Groups Is It For?
- Sports and incentive groups. A live game gives an evening with real atmosphere, with cheering for every batter.
- Families and mixed groups. The village has places to eat, shop and bathe, so clients who do not follow baseball still have something to do.
- Repeat visitors to Japan. Clients who have done the main sights and want something new in Hokkaido.
- Groups with a tight schedule. Because Kitahiroshima lies between Sapporo and New Chitose Airport, a visit can sit on the first or last day of a programme.

How Do We Plan the Day?
- Fixture first. Japanese professional baseball runs from late March to October. We check the fixture list before quoting and hold seat blocks well ahead of popular games.
- Game day or not. On a non-game day, the village and many of its facilities stay open, so a lighter visit works too.
- Coach, not train. We move groups by private coach from Sapporo or the airport, which avoids train changes with luggage.
- Time after the game. Leaving with a full crowd takes a while, so we plan the coach pick-up around it.
