ASEE 2027: Planning Smart Energy Delegations to IMPACT Bangkok

Energy buyers rarely fly in for the stands alone. They want a plant visit, a meeting with a distributor, a day to compare suppliers, and the show is the anchor that makes the trip worth it. ASEE 2027 gives solar, storage and renewables delegations that anchor near Bangkok in March, and our Thailand team covers it in its ASEE 2027 guide. Here is the short version for agencies.

What Has Been Announced for ASEE 2027?

• 17 to 19 March 2027, in Halls 5 to 7 at IMPACT, according to the venue's event calendar. Admission is listed as free.
• Three shows, one trip. The ASEAN Wind Energy Expo and the ASEAN Biomass Energy Expo share the same dates and halls.
• What it covers: a business-to-business show on smart energy, with sectors that include solar photovoltaics, batteries and energy storage, and e-mobility and charging.
• Opening hours have not been published yet.

What Should an Energy Delegation Plan For?

• Decide where to sleep first. IMPACT is in Nonthaburi, north of central Bangkok, with hotels around the halls. Staying on site means walking to the stands; a city hotel means evenings in Bangkok and a road transfer each day.
• Keep a day free on either side. Supplier and site visits are often the real purpose of the trip, so we fix the three show days and build visits around them.
• Mid-March is busy. Aviation Festival Asia and the IB Global Conference fill QSNCC from 16 to 20 March, so we hold rooms early.
• Two airports. We plan transfers from Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, plus a coach between hotel and halls and interpreters where the group needs them.
